CAD Automation Engineer Full Job Description The role of a CAD Automation Engineer is to develop new CAD tools as per Autoliv Standards and be responsible for upgradation and support of the CAD tools in the production environment RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: 

• Develop CAD-Automation-Tools with VBA or VB.NET/ C# 

• Define best practices for CATIA V5 and design related topics 

 • Support CAD-Training preparation and provide trainings • Provide Support for end users 

• Contribute to the development and support of CAD Applications like Solidworks, NX etc. 

• Perform pre-implementation impact analysis and list functional risks associated with the selected architectural approach. 

• Collaborate with PLM and other Engineering Departments to develop solutions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors’/Masters’ degree in Mechanical Engineering 

• Minimum 2-4 Years of relevant experience working as CAD Automation Engineer. 

• Advanced knowledge of CATIA and its associated libraries and APIs. 

• Good knowledge of COM objects 

• Good Experience with working in KBE 

• Created Power copies, UDFs and sound knowledge of EKL. 

• Has worked with other CAD Software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX 

• Good communication skills in English. Should have good fluency in oral and written.
