About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer / Executive to manage plant machine maintenance operations with complete ownership of performance KPIs. The role focuses on ensuring high equipment availability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
Manage shift-wise maintenance and operational activities for the assigned AMG
Diagnose equipment and machine breakdowns effectively to minimize downtime
Execute assigned work scopes within defined timelines and due dates
Breakdown & Reliability Management
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
Ensure daily machine breakdowns remain within defined AMG targets
Monitor and improve MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
Preventive Maintenance
Own and drive preventive maintenance (PM) planning and execution for stitching machines
Ensure consistent execution of maintenance schedules and standards
Process & Continuous Improvement
Apply and promote 5S, Kaizen, and employee suggestion systems
Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives and IATF 16949 compliance
Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and machine performance
Compliance & Documentation
Close LOP and TPM tags within agreed timelines
Maintain maintenance management documentation and records
Ensure adherence to industry and company standards
Performance Deliverables
Maintain daily breakdowns within defined AMG targets
Close LOP and TPM tags as per target dates
Achieve defined MTTR and MTBF performance levels
Ensure consistent performance of the assigned AMG
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics)
Experience
6–8 years for Diploma holders
4–6 years for Engineering graduates
Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of Electrical systems
Hands-on experience with PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi)
Exposure to hydraulics and pneumatics
Behavioral Skills
Team player with strong individual ownership
Flexible to work in shifts
Strong communication skills
Languages
Kannada, English, Hindi
Additional Information
Willingness to work in 3-shift operations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Experience in PLC-based maintenance systems is essential
