We are seeking an experienced Advanced Specialist / Senior Executive (Incoming Quality) to join our Quality team. The role is responsible for ensuring supplier part quality, managing incoming inspections, supporting production quality requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in quality inspection, supplier quality management, measurement systems, and problem-solving methodologies within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Incoming Quality Management
Execute incoming material inspections as per defined sampling plans and quality standards.
Ensure supplier parts meet quality requirements before release to production.
Develop and maintain part inspection standards and related documentation.
Monitor incoming quality performance and drive improvement actions.
Supplier Quality Management
Investigate supplier-related quality issues and implement containment actions.
Conduct joint inspections and quality reviews with suppliers.
Review supplier corrective action plans and 8D reports.
Raise supplier quality defects in the system and ensure timely closure.
Production Line Support
Address line quality concerns related to supplier parts.
Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Support production teams to minimize quality-related disruptions.
Team & Shift Operations
Manage and guide a team of 5-6 inspectors, including supplier representatives.
Ensure smooth execution of incoming quality activities across shifts.
Drive inspection strengthening and quality improvement initiatives.
Quality Systems & Reporting
Maintain inspection records, rejection reports, dashboards, and PPM data.
Support customer, system, and internal audits.
Manage rejection, segregation, material disposition, and supplier returns.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
Calibration & Testing
Manage calibration of measuring instruments as per schedule.
Ensure raw material testing activities are completed as planned.
Maintain compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Required Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Height Gauge
CMM
VMM
Vision Measurement Systems
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Understanding of:
MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
SPC (Statistical Process Control)
7 QC Tools
Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving Techniques
Good presentation, reporting, and documentation skills.

Qualifications
BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline.
Experience
6-9 years of experience in Incoming Quality, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Automotive Quality functions.
