In this role you will be responsible for ensuring supplier part quality at the plant as per defined standards and supporting smooth incoming quality operations. You will need to deliver effective inspection, quick issue resolution, supplier coordination, and strong quality control to support production continuity.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Manage incoming quality operations during assigned shifts (A, B, C)
Execute incoming inspection as per defined sampling plans
Handle line concerns related to supplier parts and implement containment actions
Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate supplier joint inspections
Raise defects in the system and ensure timely communication with suppliers
Identify non-conforming parts and manage rejection and material disposition
Prepare rejection notes and ensure timely return of defective materials to suppliers
Maintain inspection records, dashboards, PPM reports, and inspection standards
Support internal and customer audits and ensure compliance
Ensure calibration of measuring instruments as per plan
Manage raw material testing of child parts as per schedule
Review supplier 8D reports and action plans
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams for smooth operations
Interact with customers during audits and plant visits
If you have/are:
Strong understanding of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM, VMM, etc.)
Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T
Hands-on experience in quality tools and techniques (7QC Tools, MSA, SPC)
Ability to analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions
Strong reporting and presentation skills
B.E / B.Tech qualification
5–7 years of experience in Incoming Quality or Supplier Quality
Proficiency in English and Hindi
Willingness to work in shift operations
